"I placed it next to her litterbox, and she wanted her kitchen/bathroom (i.e. litterbox) to be accessible from her house. Since her house didn't have a back door, she remodeled it by adding one! So I guess Carrot Lane houses are easily remodeled by their owners, and no contractor's license is required! Never underestimate a determined bunny!"

"Santa brought the Davis bunnies a new cottage for Christmas. Kringle immediately began to redesign the new one to his specifications. Maggie likes to lounge in there but it is Kringle's security blanket. One night when I was cleaning the pens, I stopped to do something in the kitchen and must have made too much noise because Kringle was upset because I hadn't put the house back in yet and he couldn't hide in it. He is Mr. Sensitive. Here is a pic of the well loved one that we're retiring."

She also enjoys standing on her back feet and leaning forward at the front of her pen so that you can give her her favorite thing -- belly rubs! Back when you put Starbuck on your site, I told you I'd send you a pic of Tribble inside it when she was finally granted rental privileges and that has just started happening, so here is her picture of the incredible privilege of standing in the cottage. I'm actually not sure she gets much time in there; how long does it take a 3 lb rabbit to eat his salad?

And while we're on the subject of how entitled my males are as compared to their concubunns, I've attached a pic of Bridgette in her slave quarters. Where's Brandon, you say? IN THE COTTAGE, silly!"

"I thought I would send you pictures of my big boy in his house. He is now moved in and hangs out in his box, which is a riot when he turns around. His behind has to go out one window and his head the other, so that he can sit looking out. He has not redesigned his windows or doorway...yet."

"Plopp has really taken a liking to the cottage. He occasionally does a little construction, but he's settled in now. He received it on Christmas 2007. During that time he was very ill with an inner ear infection with a bad head tilt. Fortunately, he has fully recovered! Here he is 4 months later enjoying his Bunny Dream Cottage. "Here is a picture of Harry in his Dream Cottage, although it does not show the back door he created! Nor the sunroof or the expanded windows! Harry, whose full name is Harrison Ford, was rescued from a shelter. He lives with his mom, as well as a cat-companion who he exercises with, and a little girl who sits with him on the floor and hand feeds him everything, to his ultimate delight!"

"Dude loves the cottage, immediately decided it was his favorite napping spot, and began redecorating for ultimate good dream enhancement. He's decided that the only way to enter the cottage properly is through the windows and never the front door. T occasionally pops in there to smush on Dude a bit and wake him up, and then pops out again."

"Brandon, who is also known as "The Prince of Everything" was delighted to commandeer the cottage. He was so pleased he issued a proclamation to all his bunny friends telling them to cajole their people into properly providing each of them with their very own cottage. He may even, on occasion, allow his "concubunn" Bridgette, to enter the cottage. However he is typically so stretched out in there, she finds it difficult to really relax in the little bit of space he isn't using. She prefers to enjoy the cottage when he is off on one of his pellet-hunting trips. This has been a nice addition to their rabbitat!"

"Just wanted to show you a picture of my bunny Peaches. Peaches will be 9 on Dec 23rd. She loves hanging out in her new house and also destroying it. :-) She shares her pen with her friend Fate and it's cute to see them both inside the house together.

Maggie & Kringle also like theirs, especially Kringle. He hides in it whenever I use the microwave or the hand mixer (made some cookies these past few weeks -poor little boy :-)"
